Lady of Ships and Birbs
Whenever people complain about Fluttershy not progressing as a character, I would think of things like this so I’m glad the comics addressed this. Also, this is one of the reasons why her character resonates with me so much because she kind of reminds me of myself.

we live in a timeline where a fandom artist that loves ponies draw them oficially…
That’s one advantage I think Pencil has over other artists: He came from the fandom and knows what the fandom think and like to see.
 
I think it goes a bit farther than that even. I feel like people are more willing to give Pencils credit for anything that goes right because of that, even the stuff he didn’t have anything to do with. I mean, take this panel. Truly a wonderful, heartwarming scene, both visually and the things being said. But only the art aspect was done by Pencils. Ted Anderson wrote what was being said.
