Heh. Between two nuclear families that may or may not be related, a formerly estranged grandfather and two significant others, this is getting to be a pretty sizable clan in its own right.

So Maud, what did you get your boyfriend this year?? A large fascine on a heavy carriage??

That would only happen if they had anything to start with. We see no further interaction or hints of it after that episode. It went nowhere and it’s sad that Marble pined for him, but he had no obligation towards her. There wasn’t even a confession here, and he barely knew her so there’s no way to know she was even feeling like that towards him. Considering it was Pinkie Pie forcing the situation and her shy demeanor, he can just as easily interpret it as her embarrassed by her sister.
 
Either way, Big Mac had no obligation towards Marble. It’s been two years since he saw her after all.

It’s possible Big M told her that they were to break up prior. But to not tell your ex-GF and going off with another would be considered cheating. Damned if he did, damned if he didn’t I guess. Either way, there’s going to be a broken heart. Better pick the least painful route.
 
It certainly doesn’t make it any easier for poor Marble with Sugarmac literally in front of her face here.

What warms my heart further is the wreath by the tree.

The one thing i dont know is if Marble Pie is still upset or being her usual self.

But the thing that warms my heart is seeing Grand Pea being included in the festivities…….so miracles did happen..

Marble is really not having a good time in this holiday season.  
Considering she expected that she hit a jackpot in the previous one.

I really loved that they got the Pies and the Apples together again for the holidays
