I remember when somebody was complaining about Filthy Rich’s eqg design and directly complaining about things that were on his Pony counterpart like his dollar sign bow tie and moneybag pin which was his cutie mark and saying it works on ponies

I’ve watched this special twice now and I don’t think I actually noticed Rainbow dabbing either time. Honestly I just think Rainbow Dash being a filthy memer makes total sense, so I’m endlessly amused that this little Easter egg exists. It’s really not that prominent, though this show’s attempts at relevance are a little awkward at times. Hope they figure this stuff out a bit more; on paper, I enjoy the idea of putting these characters into the contemporary zeitgeist, but I’m not convinced anyone has ever wanted a freaking selfie drone.
