Truthfully, Fo:E cannot exist without FiM, and they exist in different niches. So it’s better to say that as an adult fan fiction about friendship, Fo:E is superior, but as a family friendly story about friendship, FiM is superior.
50 years dungeon it is.
Sue me. <3
No, the inventor of dark and edgy was Warhammer 40k. “In the GRIM DARKness of the year 40,000…”
That’s where that word, grimdark, comes from. Can’t get much darker and edgier than that, really.
PH has a lot of songs. “At the End of the Trail” might not count, but is amazing; “Shoulda Just Sent the Whisky” probably does; the song from that one version of “Jack and the Beanstalk” would. And there are others. If you’re familiar with horizon’s (the author) Versebreaker setting, I’ve said before that I think of PH as almost being one, since the same thing kind of comes up.
@infinita est lux Solis
I give it to PH on both, but if I’m choosing one it’s definitely the characters.
basically the inventor of the concept dark and edgy, and it’s the reason everyone who has played a sonic the hedgehog game knows about him.
Who?
why do you think so many people like shadow the hedgehog?
Sometimes darker does equal better
I preferred the original’s story, but PH’s characters were better.
No songs? What about the Giggle at the Ghosty spoof that Blackjack did? And the “May the best pet win” spoof that Murky Number 7 did? I’m sure there were a couple others as well.
Project Horizons was great. Murky Number 7 was also good. The original was meh.
Even if I never end up too hook up to it I do like mentioning that specially from Russian artists there’s a lot of great fan-art of it.
No…
I speak fluent Duck.
He’s telling us all to go F*ck ourselves.

Not too surprised to hear that. Quite a bit of crossovers are like that.
