Because they even said, the majority of their viewers are in the US. I am willing to bet less then half a percent make up Iraq and Zimbabwe visiting their series. Russia is a larger portion sure, but it still wouldn’t resonate with most people.
 
Nonetheless, that has nothing to do with someone being respectful and showing kindness to another’s celebration.

Actually I am Russian and I love ponies and numerous USA culture creations but I despise when people spread lies and makes assumptions based on lies.
 
For example recent case with Scripals that all world so happily echoed USA propaganda. First fact - neuro-paralitics kill in seconds, not hours. Second fact - to identificate poison you need to have sample -> to know how to produce. Third fact - spy that already tell everything to enemy has no walue and is not worth trouble to remove, especially if it can have (political) consequences. After unbased immediate accusion was forsibly removed 120 Russian diplomats from various countries. In Scripals appartment died two hamsters from hunger and has been killed a cat by UK investigators. After Scripals awakened they’ve been shushed by UK so they cannot tell what actually happened. In result 120 diplomats was forsibly removed for two dead hamsters (still not proved Russian guilt), once again dirtied reputation of country, after clarifying that all this was only lies no one even apologized.
 
Or case with fascistic coup in Ukraine that USA and all Europe see as legal and 90% vote of Crimeans for separating from occupied by fascists Ukraine and rejoining once again with Russia - as illegal.
 
Or even here with all this mudslinging of Stalin and his “terror”. Do any of you know that in most brutal years of his rule in USSR in prisons and camps (GULAG) taken together was LESS people for each thousand than in USA today in prisons? That his rule caused GROWTH of population, in 10 years was catched up 100 years of industrial and cultural development, that he united all USSR, sometimes by force, so USSR could repel an attack of German “best in the world” army, created superpower (second in the world) out of agrarian country after two civil wars before him, that USA started to actually support anti-fascist coalition only after defeat of this infamous army (90% of all lendliz and opening second front)? Or that both atomic bombs was launched at innocent towns AFTER defeat of Japan army and wasn’t even needed to fast capitulation of Japan. Bombs was needed only to “scare” USSR, nothing else.
 
Lies are everywhere, politics are dirty, dirty thing.

Ok, I normally don’t make a fuss over other’s opinions, but I’m having a hard time understanding what exactly is your point here.
 
Patriotism isn’t an exclusive club or something, being patriotic is the core of this country. American culture is the result of bringing a plethora of other cultures together. We simply wouldn’t be the nation we are without having the civility to accept foreigners and offer them a better life. As a country we may have taken on a bit more than we could rightly chew, but that never stopped us before. I’m fully aware tensions in the world are rather high right now, but as a citizen of the United States of America I’m going to ask you both to cease whatever it is you’re looking to start here. The team that runs this site are busy enough as it is, if you want to discuss politics, There’s a forum for that here elsewhere.
 
I’m not going to assume your nationalitys, (from your stances on this I assume you’re Americans as well.) My family has lived in this country since the mid 1700s, their ancestors came from all over Europe just like yours may have. I know “most” of our patriotic hymns and anthems, yet my family has never batted an eye about my choices early in life to not only learn, but take pride in the customs, cultures, anthems and languages of some of our fellow allies. I’m not telling you to stop, just asking you to remember it’s more than blue collar Americans that fought for this country throughout her history.
 
In closing I’ll ask you a question,  
I salute to the stars and stripes, yet I wear a beret and speak French. Is that unpatriotic of me?

You can thank Europe in general for this site, the world as a whole is the core of this site, but the people that actually host and maintain it are not on American soil. So if you love ponies, give those people some love eh?

What patriotism? USA is not their country. For all we know they would be at war.

I’m just happy to finally see a pony comic have some patriotism. Not a single other one I follow ever does anything for patriotic holidays let alone Christmas.

Of course! Greed, want to be an exploiter, lobbysm of those that already are exploiters and corruption are so strong that they cannot let countries rise up to communism. Therefore there will not be communism, unfortunately. Ironic here is that no exploiting government want people to know what communism really is. It’s unprofitable to tell them the truth. People would never vote for them if they knew what were alternatives. (For example, FREE education, including high school, FREE medicine, FREE apartments for every family, Guaranteed workplace after completing technical education that also free, dropping prices, not rising, etc. - those all are signs of communists country.)

Well communism is way better than “american dream” for less than one percent of population.
