It’s alright if you zoom out, but zooming in gives me an actual headache. Such a weird thing to do to a picture!
Yes, you’ll have to do it intentionally to get the effect. But this image has a very minor effect.
Using my *chromatic aberration calculator, it gives the effect of 0.62, and shouldn’t really be visible when zoomed out.

I’m not a fan of the effect either, and it does take up more storage as it can’t be compressed as effectively. So I wouldn’t mind if people would stop using it.
