She’s so unf~
That doesn’t make any sense. Starlight’s not even in that many episodes and doesn’t always hang with the Mane 6. Sunset on the other hand not only hangs with the other 6 all the time (to the point where there’s never anything EQG related without her in it) but she’s basically the central focus more often than not. So I think that claim is pretty disingenuous
Well, you have to admit there are times where it feels like the writers are trying to overcompensate not having Sunset Shimmer by going out of their way to make Starlight just as popular as her.

If she had seen through everything, the same people would be complaining that every other character was “intentionally written terribly to make Starlight look better because Hasbro is FORCING HER DOWN OUR THROATS!!”
You literally can’t win with those people.
If she did then she would be a Mary Sue and haved saved the day as always.
