Basically, near the tail end of the episode, the fake ponies and Chrysi get to the tree of harmony, they all start letting their inverted traits go even wilder than before, the tree of harmony senses their bullshit and melts them a bit before reverting them to coloured logs.
 
Possibly to be used as kindling for the actual Mane 6.

It would be a cool foreshadow if Evil Twilight mocked Chrysalis for being “weak” to fight her enemies all by herself. And then their brief fight proves Evil Twilight right.
