That… seems like a rather contrived way to weave some sort of consent into this, though I highly doubt that all of the Mane Six would consent to being sold off.
I could see Fluttershy possibly going along with it, even if she didn’t really want to, and maybe Pinkie’d try being a rocking horse, just to see if she thought it’d be fun. But I really can’t see the other four going along with it of their own free wills.
That would make it pretty much consensual on Twilight’s part wouldn’t it? Because there is no way to win that kind of bet. After all, Dash already tried to sell Fluttershy into slavery before.
The other 5 could have been consensually hypnotized in the form of a bet, to see if the townsponies were virtuous enough to resist buying them. Losing the bet would allow Discord to mind control Twilight, so she doesn’t like it.
