the toy deal had an option to buy the whole thing
yup, now they also have the right to make the show and comic too.
so, we can hope for a MLP, Transformers, Power Rangers crossover in the future.

I think the difference is on the posablity because compared to regular newest Sentai robo Minipla it have more components to be build (almost on par with HG Gundam model kit) and some of the small parts like Daizyujin/Megazord’s face have been painted. (unlike minipla that required us to apply stickers)
also, for King Brachion/Titanus it is included with motor parts that allowed him to move like its DX counterpart.
btw, their newest project is the robo from Kakuranger/Megazords from MMPR S3

Just get the super minipla, sure you have to build it and paint it (if you don’t want to put stickers), it is cheaper (and better) compared to the SOC.
If you’re going for completion, they also released Dragon Caesar/Dragonzord and King Brachion/Titanus to make full combination with Daizyujin/Megazord. Unfortunately the latter is an exclusive item.

Indeed. Super Sentai/Power Rangers mecha toys usually tend to be bricks, but the are beautiful bricks.
