The DB cast actually had two other people lined up for the fight but they were too strong and would obliterate the half demon in a fight. They settled on Twilight because they both had similar magic in most cases like shields and blasts for the most part. The rest was just up in the air. Twilight survived longer than anyone could’ve expected regardless.

I pretty much expected the outcome, which actually pissed me off all the more because who in their right minds thought pitting these two together was a good idea?! They must have known Twilight would die and actively wanted it to happen!

I am not whinging that Twilight lost. Her powers were made to create friendship, not so be a raw fighting power (yeah, DBZ reference when she had all the alicorn-power, but that doesn’t count, duuhh).  
I just found it to be so much fun that they’d referenced MLP and I had such a blast.  
hope they will do the rest of the mane6 (or 7? - how much does Starlight count?) in the future
