Yes. Thereby her lacking denial while specifically stating her mother is dead implies that she is gay and her mother doesn’t know because she’s dead.
The joke is the same. Dashie just hasn’t caught up with the fact that her joke succeeded. The correct response to this joke is always “I’m not gay.” Unless you are gay, that is. And AJ’s response doesn’t pass.
Well its not an affirmation either. Because she didn’t respond to the gay part doesn’t mean shes gay. The original joke is that you say that your mother doesnt know your gay, therefore you are gay.
