It’s like earwigs. People immediately think they’re disgusting, and yes they are, but they’re also fantastic parents :P
The fact that they are fantastic hunters and have so many body parts blinds many to the fact that they are rather easy to relate to.
And prime bait for waifu material.

Centipedes are grade A mothers and will explicitly look for a male when mating time comes.
I could see one being somewhat of a “last of her kind” at least in this area and really really needing companionship.
And before you ask, yes, her love hole is at the very end of her body.
All the better for her to have a pair of legs specifically to grip you tight and keep you there.
