There was a moment in which discord was shown but now he totally disappeared, starlight at least does some appearances and helped twilight in a few occasions including season 7 finale.
True but not a main character, at least not as much as starlight, so I don’t see why she couldn’t get first in this poll.

Not rigged. I think it was more of a combo of people who really like Starlight, people who think the others didn’t have any great episodes, people who vote Starlight to spite her haters, people who ironically vote for Starlight, and people who likes to troll.
Starlight’s a weirdo magnet, and that goes in the meta-narrative as well.
I sometimes ask myself that question when it comes to the MLP movie. X3
