Notice the title, if I had to guess this seems to reference the earliest images we ever got of Sunset as well as a popular theory at the time.
 
After the Season 3 finale Hasbro was more toy planning then usual. This included the first ever images of the first Sunset Shimmer toy. This was before the EQG movie and the fandom was still at it’s peak.
 
And so people started thinking, and they came up with a theory that many believed. It’s was that shortly after Twilight’s coronation there was a grand masquerade ball held to celebrate.
 
And it’s here where Sunset Shimmer first sees Princess Twilight realizes Celestia has truly replaced her as a student and begins planning her revenge.
