The soundtrack didn’t include “The Girl From Impanema” because is not from the film. Think back at how “The Girl From Impanema” was used in “Planes” but it isn’t included in the soundtrack of the film.

Most soundtracks pad the album with ‘Songs inspired by the film’ tracks by popular artists to pad the soundtrack out and for it to be sold to more people.

Major spoilers ahead:
Twilight is captured by Tempest Shadow after an argument with the Mane 5. Spike evades capture, and lets the other Mane 6 know about it, as well as helps them recruit Princess Skystar and Capper and come up with a plan to invade Canterlot and rescue Twilight.

So Spike doesn’t even have a brain.
I again question why he is even in the movie.
Oh, right, can’t have pratfalls happen to the main characters.

Also, Twilight was suspicious the whole time.
While Capper’s intro at first makes Spike give the suspicious evil eye, he wins him over along with the other 6. After Capper sells them to Virko, they flee because Tempest comes in as well to capture the main 6. Capper does not interact with the main characters again until the climax, where Spike and him mutually agree to use Spike as a flamethrower.
I can tell his character is to use the 6 for his own gains, spike is the only one who notices it but will be brushed off because “lol he’s just jealous rarity likes him” and then when Capper reveals he was using them, he’s pardoned in less than 30 seconds “because it was for a good cause” and Spike forgets that he had a brain in an earlier scene and becomes capper’s pocket pet and anything that could have done by spike is now done by capper using spike as a tool.
