Wouldn’t Embervision make them look the same?
Remove the steaks, change the hair colour to an average between them, and the same with the coat and eyes. That’s probably a better simulation.
They’re just acknowledging her status as a princess of the people and treating her as such.
Even fellow ponies do not notice that she’s alicorn, unless it’s official visit.
Happy they changed it, that looks horrible imo.
She looks more like the original Twilight like that.
