The whole “it’s too foreign” thing falls apart if they call them rice balls multiple times (why not just consistently call them rice balls then?)
Edited
Sweetie Belle: “I agree! You should try some!”
True but I really wanted to make fun of that one XD
@thps48
I had rice balls once, and while they were pretty good, I actually spent the whole time wishing they were actually donuts :P
She feels the fucking strong. :D
That feeling she feels?
I mean, it’s realistic. There are definitely sub groups that do this.
Oh, no, I get the meme.
It’s just that every single word in that sentence is Japanese, so you could say that the translator didn’t do a damn thing.
LARGER, I SAY!!!
YOu mean the one where Mr bean turns into a Samurai?
Super localized would be like that Mega Man cartoon where he was super ripped XD
@Itsthinking
:D
@Lost Marbles
It’s from this XD
I selected Latin because ōf the macron o (ō) in “Arigatō” makes me think ōf classical Rōman literature, as in “Cicerō” ōr “Ōvid”. If nōt fōr Latin, I wōuld have used Maori ōr Hawaiian, because they alsō have macrōn ō’s.
Maori dub: Kēkē raihi! Mauruuru koe nui atu, E te Kaiwhakaako!
Hawaiian dub: Ka laiki i hūʻole! Mahalo oe he nui loa, E ke Kumu!
Edited
What is that, the Catholic dub? Pretty sure they can use vernacular now.
“These donuts are great! Jelly-filled are my favorite! Nothing beats a jelly-filled donut!”
(Okay, this made me smile too hard. I pulled a cheek muscle.)
Mysteriously flat Pinkie eating a sub while pointing in the air for no apparent reason.
