zebras are native to africa. and as the native race of equine local to that continent i assume that they would be similar to the native people of said region. therefore in my opinion i would have assumed zecora was black with white stripes i.e. more black than white. that’s just my reconing, not racist at all.

You can make them any race you want,they’re already a rainbow of colors but if you want to get technical;if they’re black they would be zebras and vice versa.

Seriously now. Displaying humanized ponies to be a certain race needs a background or it’s just an empty gesture.  
Zecora is black, there’s no arguing that.  
Remember that beautician in Green isn’t your color? Distinct asian features.  
However making some of humanized M6 dark skinned to convey some kind of “friendly” gesture towards minorities is stupid, empty, awkward and if I were a minority I’d probably get more insulted by that kind of pandering than by depicting everyone white.

White with black stripes? Why not do whatever you want if you want her black or white or asian it’s your interpretation.
 
I’m not even bothered by black Twilight nor any other interpretations of Twilight.

Black Zecora doesn’t bother me at all. It makes complete sense. Just listen to her voice. That said, what does bother me is how, in every TF2 crossover, they automatically make Zecora the demo for no other reason I can think of besides they’re both “black”.

Is this supposed to be about humanizations in general? Or about Zercora? Because I haven’t seen a white Zercora. Ever. (Unless it hasn’t been coloured.)

For humanizations I base race on the character’s voice.
 
Yes, I can tell what race someone is just by listening to their voice.
