We never speak about that episode. If it wasn’t for that epic timberwolf slaying Spike did I’d completely forget its existence.

Me too, I was wonder for a while when we’d ever get to see that happen.
I’m just delighted that this knight/dragon conflict exists. I’m hoping this will lead to Fluttershy giving them a savage beating.
That’s true but also, with the exception of Rarity and Twilight and even Starlight, Spike doesn’t seem to have any one on one interaction with the other girls or the CMC. Twilight and her friends all have had episodes where they spend time with just one of the girls or their other friends.
I rarely recalled episodes where spike does the same with AJ, Rainbow, Pinkie, and Fluttershy. Sometimes it feels like he’s their friend by association.
Agreed. Shy seems to be the one that he interacts with the least.
