My hopes? I’m not needing to keep them up. I know the movie is going to be awesome. That’s not the problem.  
I was talking about people not even giving the movie a chance. And as it is the norm for bronies, once they see they were wrong with their fears, a lot of them will cook up excuses and pick on the movie anyway, making up reasons to hate it, in order to not having to admit that they were in the wrong about their judgements of the movie.  
A lot of bronies who say they leave the show with Season 6 do that, making up bullshit reasons to justify that leave. So they might just do that for the movie too.  
That’s what I’m worried about.

Eh, just try to keep your hopes up. It could end up a rushed mess, it could end up exactly as awesome as the show show deserves, or it could end up somewhere in the middle.
 
We’ll only know once we watch it.

Observations. The assumption of the movie being rushed because of having a big cast was thrown around a lot a month ago when the reveals happened.  
You just come to expect more of it after staring into the abyss.

What, how did I condemn it? I just highly doubt they’d take time away from the story to delve into the backstory of her name.
 
If it helps any, I’ve been looking forward to the movie ever since it was announced. Sure, some of the fandom can bitch about it, but I’d rather not jump the gun and declare my hatred for something that doesn’t even exist yet xD .

Don’t mind me if I’m not taking this serious since we don’t know how long the movie is exactly and since the fandom is already condemning it to be rushed without having seen it just because a big cast of characters was announced, yo.

It really makes me wonder why her parents named her that way….. I hope we find out in the movie.

A seapony named skystar, that’s pretty ironic.
