Description
I took this photo in a remote wilderness in southern Washington state, 1/2 mile off trail from the Pacific Crest Trail, for Equestria Daily’s annual Ponies Around the World event.
The hike itself was around 33 miles total, covered over the course of 6 days; but, the lake is only about 5 miles in from the nearest road. (Access to the lake is extremely difficult, due to the lack of a trail and thick brush.)

I brought up the sharpness a tad in Lightroom, but that is mostly how it looked in real life. To be honest, it looked far better in real life. xD
I used an app called HDR Pro that takes 3 consecutive images of different exposures and blends them together. Then in Lightroom, I did the finishing touches. If I would have used my DSLR camera, it would have looked smoother and would have had less of that sharp look. Here is what the lake looks like when taken with a DSLR rather than my iPhone: https://elementalfx.smugmug.com/Photography/Showcase/i-GHPWsQf/A :P
