Spike is the man!

Seriously Spike has nearly connections to several royal factions. He is also instrumental in some of their developments into higher status. Twilight hatching his egg lead to becoming Celestia’ student, his adoption by her helped instill responsibility and humility into her, and his constant support and advice kept her grounded, all which let her gain the necessary traits that made her viable as Princess.
 
Princess Cadence gaining a whole empire to rule over and still able to thanks to his interverventions.
 
Princess Ember not only became Dragon Lord but became a smart, thoughtful, and friendly thanks to him.
 
Thorax former outcast, quickly became a welcomed foreign citizen of the Crystal Empire, hero, and later the new reigning regent of the reformed changelings, just by being given the benefit of doubt and testimonial from Spike.  
Even Starlight was better off thanks his encouragement to commit to her problems.  
They all benefitted from befriending or just receiving his aid or guidance.

You’ve done good this season, Spike.

Inb4 Chrysie comes back with not only changeling loyalists, but also with a new villain, plus busts Tirek out of prison.
 
Still wants a changeling civil war which will end in Chrysalis either going to Tartarus with Tirek or being made Super Dead with Sombra. We need no more reformed villains, my god.
