Everyone can do a crime with a knife, too. Or a rope. Or a baseball bat. Or a crowbar. Or a screwdriver. Or a car. You get the point.
 
And it depends on the context behind the killing. Is a soldier shooting another soldier to defend his homeland against a tyranny a bad thing?
 
And that line is completely irrelevant, anyways. It has no bearing on this argument at all. My point is that guns would become like cocaine is - completely illegal, thus only in the hands of criminals. Saying that killing is worse than doing drugs has no bearing on my point that criminals would still have guns.

Where does that scepticism come from?  
Maybe because everyone could do a crime with a gun. You cant be sure at all.  
You cannot disagree that killing is clearly a bigger ethical break than drug consuming.

I’m not being metaphorical - Fort Knox is literally where they keep a great deal of gold for the US Treasury or something like that.
 
The point is protecting the gold with weapons makes it safe. Protecting children with good intentions (ie, schools are gun-free zones) has proven time and time again to not keep them safe.

It all sounds unreal. Cocaine is 100% illegal, yet there’s still lots of people who make and own it. Guns would just be the same way, except now criminals would know that they’re never in risk of attacking someone who can shoot back. They have nothing to fear breaking in to someone’s house because they know that person is unarmed.
 
One of the best home defenses you can get is an “NRA” sign in front of your house.

criminals could not get agains any law. not even in the country of the thousand possibilities. When there is no way for anyone and i mean every living people within a country is not allowed to carry any gun in public or own one at all when they dont have a hunting licence or are in the police then that alone is already hard enough for at least 90% of all potential people who are willing to actually kill or do bad with it

What many dont seem to think of that its stupid to think that as many criminals will keep guns as they already do. Its the matter of law that needs to be set. Shall i explain?

The vast majority of shootings happen in gun-free zones. DC has the strictest gun laws in the country and the worst gun crime rates. Those two facts should tell you everything you need to know about gun control.

…You do know that if guns become illegal (which I am assuming you want since you sound like one of THOSE people), then it will only stop law-abiding citizens from owning guns and criminals will still keep their guns because they’re CRIMINALS who have no regard for the law, and ordinary citizens will have no other means of defense if they come into contact with an armed criminal….although I do agree that there should be more background checks to people who want to buy guns to limit as many convicted felons and people with documented psycho/sociopathic tendencies to buy guns as possible. I’m not trying to sound mean or anything, but I just wanted to let you know that! ;)

Is it strong or honorable to leave one’s family grieving and without means of support because one was faced with a violent criminal and had nothing with which to defend oneself? Firearms don’t exist in a vacuum; the world is full of bad people who want to rob or injure or kill others, and they are unlikely to be pursuaded to abandon a life of crime by harsh language and good intentions. Every living thing has a right to protect its own existence by whatever practical means, and when that existence is threatened by a violent criminal, a firearm is almost always the most practical means to do so.

AR 15 = Armalite Rifle 15. It’s Semi-automatic, meaning it fires one bullet per trigger pull, chambers another round by itself (for the AR-15 platform in particular, via Direct Impingement). AR-15s are usually used for self-defense (which they’re quite good for), having fun at the gun range, and sometimes hunting small animals.
