Everyone can do a crime with a knife, too. Or a rope. Or a baseball bat. Or a crowbar. Or a screwdriver. Or a car. You get the point.
And it depends on the context behind the killing. Is a soldier shooting another soldier to defend his homeland against a tyranny a bad thing?
And that line is completely irrelevant, anyways. It has no bearing on this argument at all. My point is that guns would become like cocaine is - completely illegal, thus only in the hands of criminals. Saying that killing is worse than doing drugs has no bearing on my point that criminals would still have guns.
When it comes right down to it, though, I want a gun, because if a guy comes in my house with a machete, I want to stop him where he stands before he can take another step closer to me and my family.
