Have you read the story? It constantly brings up discussions of morality and how it applies in the wasteland. There is very little forgiveness, and practically no forgetting when it comes to the crimes committed.

Are you actually serious? There were people littlepip didn’t like but did not kill. Almost all of the ones she did were blatantly evil or supporting evil practices.

It’s pretty clear what the raiders are thinking from their actions, as ‘quartz’ explains himself.
 
You don’t need to step into their mind to figure out why they raped a mare then let her run so they can catch her again. Or why they’d put fillies and colts to fight each other to the death, or hang corpses all around them as trophies.

Thats why I think its a shame that every FoE writer forces their story to work in the same time frame of Kkat’s. Its not like Kkat owns fallout. People should write their own original story ignoring the existence of Little Pip and her universe entirely. That way your story isn’t forced to end at the same time her’s ends.I mean for fuck’s sake there are FoE stories out there better written than Kkats.

Is pretty good and moral quandaries can be looked at through the scope of utilitarianism and related schools.
 
If Pippers didn’t kill the raiders, how many ponies would have died or suffered disproportional to the raiders left alive? If so-and-so wasn’t killed or destroyed, how much ultimate suffering would there still be if left to their own designs? How much of what would get fucked when they inevitably decided to 1984 the Wasteland?
 
If want criticism of the fic then it could be argued that the story gets bogged down in seemingly pointless shootouts with raiders and getting three stories packed into one, each dealt with not one at the other but literally at the same time. But the later point isn’t too big a concern, at least from a comparative stand point where imo I’d say the side-fics FoE spawn try to out Death Star the villainy of the core-FoE and out complicate the original.

As inconsistent as the fanfic sounds, I can’t imagine the writing being any worse than Fallout 3.

That or you’re so one dimensional that the only character that can be heroic in your eyes is literally one where they never have to sacrifice anything to accomplish their goals. I should add that one difference is that when I apply my reasonings to the same real world equivalents that my arguments do not fall apart however. Which is a benefit of actually having consistent logic rather then bias.
