The first chunk of that his him talking to Spike, then a flashback to the hive where he’s sleep deprived and not listening to the other changelings. They respond in this one by assuming the form of Chrysalis and spike to convince him he’s overworking himself and starting to lose it. The last row of panels is continuing from the flashback. You really need to read both pages in one go for this one to make sense.
@thps48
I’m just saying in this comic he seems to be stressing himself out a lot and assuming personal responsibility for everything. I’m sure once he is able to chill out a bit he would be able to give out good orders :3
@marconde
I’ve been reading left to right and top to bottom. I figure that’s how comics usually work outside of manga.
While I know nothing about being a leader, it would be nice if Thorax had some trusted friends/minions he could deligate tasks to, and help spread out the workload.
Even though Thorax was given no choice but to lead, I still get the feeling it’s what he wants anyway. Besides, he knows friendship, kindness, and love the best because that’s what he was like since birth anyway. (Hurr, born into privilege; insert meme phrase here. XD )
I considered the breakdown of the English language to be part of the hallucination. That is pretty much how I would talk after going 2 or 3 days without sleep, if I could even still make words.
@Lupin Quill
Since “Now”. He doesn’t mention the past, only the present and future. Conjunction Junction, what’s your function? (I don’t remember the song from School House Rock which details the way to describe points in time. Apologies. XD )
