that’s why S7 can’t satisfy them. they tried to show it’s everything okay with “stranger than fanfiction” but nooooooo, some bronies just think that mlp is made for them and not for children and start barking on how everything is “wrong”

No. Because people are going to bitch regardless of what I say or do, so I might as well sit back and enjoy the comedy as we get ourselves emotionally worked up over a children’s show. People want to take what I say personally, and think that I’m laughing at your “misfortune” because your cartoon horses didn’t dance exactly the way you wanted them to? You’re welcome to it.

Glad we agree with that, Red-Supernova. I was disappointed by Celestia and Luna’s lack of dialogue in To Where and Back Again, so I hope they get more screen time and dialogue in the Season 7 premiere alongside Cadance, Shining Armor, Twilight, and Flurry Heart.
If the writers grant that wish, they will regain my respect that faded because of the poor writing I saw in this finale.

Indeed. Season 4 had Twilight hesitant about her new role in the premiere, then gaining her title in the finale. Season 5 had Twilight and her friends deal with Starlight and her vendetta against cutie marks in the premiere, then Twilight getting Starlight to repent and become her student in the finale. Season 6 had Starlight deal with reconnecting with Sunburst in the premiere, then deal with re-assuming a leader position in the finale.
From the looks of it, Season 7 will open with, and this is my hypothesis, Starlight, the Royal Family, and the Elements of Harmony, dealing with the aftermath of the events of To Where and Back Again and still being haunted by what happened along with the threat of Chrysalis returning looming over their heads, so they need to overcome whatever trauma and emotional scars they might have received and be ready to confront Chrysalis when she does return for her vengeance.
Not to mention, I hope the Season 7 premiere makes up for the Royal Family’s lack of screen time and dialogue in To Where and Back Again and gives them a major role similar to what they were given back in The Crystalling. That much will make me happy.
Just like 4 for 3, 5 for 4, 6 for 5. I entered the fandom during the hiatus between EQG1 and S4, but that’s long enough to notice the pattern.
Good point. Still, one can only speculate between now and the Season 7 premiere, right? Let’s hope the Season 7 premiere brings some closure to the plot holes and unanswered questions that To Where and Back Again left behind.

Mm, I’m the same way a little. Hopefully, next season, Starlight will be able to defeat Chrysalis and M. Bison. ;D
With my imagination, I could probably think of several ideas for the next encounter with Chrysalis, but I’d probably be doing crossovers with other shows or video games as well.
The writers already are overchallenged with creating an episode which doesn’t portray anyone as stupid, out of character or incompetent. So you are right.
