To be fair, the feud lasted all of one day. Chances are they would have cooled down eventually even if Twilight hadn’t done anything.
It truly does.
But I think the other issue I had with this episode is that those three got to the point of not talking to each-other over dumb reasons after ALL THIS TIME! I could’ve easily seen this as a season 1 or 2 episode. But SIX seasons in?! C’mon guys.
Yeah, it sucks hardcore when you’re the mediator of such petty squabbles.
This is true. Perhaps that’s why I couldn’t stand it. It maybe hit a bit too close to home for a lot of situations in my life. Especially the whole “I must be right” attitude. I’ve definitely been in Twilight’s place in this episode a few times.
Petty issues arising from everyone overblowing a minor situations is VERY common for mature people, dare I say even moreso due to how strong the “I must be right” mindset is when you’re older and feeling you can’t flub up or be wrong about a situation.

…..Turns out there was bit more petty friendship issues and immaturity going on than I would’ve liked to have seen from other ponies.
But adorkable Twilight was still wonderfully adorkable throughout the episode! :3
