Okay i am out for a while and i will never believe that pony in Equestria have the same size as miniature horse and if you have any thing just ask Cirrus not me and honest i still think that size too small compare to the pony in real life. Plus this is just blooper and in actually show. And i am will back with new update from Cirrus.

Actually because perspective Human RD’s boots seems to be smaller than they really are. The pixel ratio looks like that human and pony RD’s head are in the same level, but they aren’t.

First human rd wearing helmet and make her head seem bigger second the angle of pony rd is not as the same as the pony head. And “Just compare her boots to the lit EQG’s boots. And how tight that helmet would have to be to work.”
 
So it’s up to you to believe whether their size is same as miniature horse and calling them a pony is not right or believing that pony have height around 120-160 cm.

Pony RD is not perpendicularly to camera, so it looks like her head is bigger than human RD’s only because perspective.

Ah ok, thanks. I wasn’t figuring out how to make that work, and I had even thought to look for the image’s number (I failed to find that, too).
 
Either way, that image is what I was referring to in context to this one. Assuming (yes, I know, bad idea and all) that this horse is equivalent in size to horses in our world, that would put the Equestria Girls at roughly the size of human teenage girls from our world. Extrapolation can happen from there.
 
I do believe we now have all the data necessary to calculate approximate sizes. Yes, I know the blooper isn’t canon to either universe, but it was intentionally put together using official resources by the creators. That’s close enough to use everything in that as well as Friendship Through the Ages to figure out how tall everypony/one actually is. Works for me.

If anything this is an attack on using the blooper as accurate material.
 
First of all we don’t have any real life comparison so it’s moot and second of all it’s a blooper, it’s not serious.
 
No one was making an attack towards EqG fans.

Yeah well, the point of this image was actually to compare the ponies to their EG counterparts, not us (and really, even if it’s a completely different world, I don’t think that there’s too much of a difference anyway).

It’s like trying to use real life ponies to determine the size between us and the ponies from the show. It doesn’t work because the ponies in the show are almost nothing like ours.  
According to Ishil Rudell, the director of the EqG movies, EqG does NOT take place in Earth.  
 
What this basically means is that the Equestria Girl characters are NOT us and they can’t really be compared to us just like real life ponies can’t really be compared to the ponies from the show. So it really renders this picture useless when trying to decipher the size differences between us and teh ponies from the show since all this is a picture showing the difference between EG characters and the ponies.
 
Unless they decide to bring in a real hooman bean we might never know how small the ponies really are in relation to us.

Alright, we can say that a pony stands a little higher than a human teenager’s hips, but this is the EqG universe. How do we account for their freakish long legs?
