Yah, but sometimes I get the idea that we need more tags to convey a similar but slightly different meaning. :p
Whenever I get a urge to tag a picture I always have to slow down and take a breath and make sure that I don’t over tag a picture. :p

No worries, yo. Like I said, I see them more as really good bros. Pretty much all of my favorite ships are queer as well. I won’t specify which ones, of course, because the last thing I want to accidentally start is a “which ship is best ship” argument.
I will, however, state that my favorite pony to ship is generally Twilight. I’m a nerdy shut-in myself, so I can kind of relate to Bookhorse, which helps when I randomly ship her with all the things that move xD .

Makes sense. Various animals have been known to do this, although some more often than others. Dolphins and certain birds come to mind.
