Nah, I’m not gonna give her a German name too. It would be kind of odd for a pony to meet a changeling with the same origin of name, no? Considering the two races don’t usually mingle with each other.
I’ve been dead-set on using the naming formula of the Mantids from WoW for a long time, that is, a couple simple 2-4 letter words strung together with an apostrophe (example: Kil’ruk). I just can’t figure out one that looks good and sounds fitting for a changeling girl.

Meh, there’s almost always someone commenting about bad breath on changeling feeding images anyway, see >>638938 (deleted) and >>976274. We had a somewhat limited palette to work with, being traditional art and all. I like the way it looks.
Oh, well, Butterkuchen is the stallion :) I haven’t figured out a name for the changeling, partially because I’m garbage with names, and partially because she isn’t really an OC… just a plain, female changeling.
Of course i know ^^ I’m from Austria ;P
It’s just the fact that you dont see ponies (or changelings) with german names very often.

What, the green love energy thing? I just took that from the IDW comics and threw some hearts in there for good measure… probably one of the very few things I’d retain from the comics.

You know it’s German, right? The “ch” in kuchen is pronounced like the “ch” in Loch Ness… maybe that makes it sound a bit less weird?
