@C Money
Doesn’t she have her cutiemark in the center of the tree of harmony?
Nope, the centre of the tree of harmony has Twiley’s star cutie-mark. Below that on the trunk are Celly and Luna’s cutie-marks.
Although arguably, Sunny’s cutie-mark IS very similar to Celly’s - the sun in Sunny’s mark is red and yellow (in a kinda yin-yang style) as opposed to Celly’s which is all yellow. :) Which I interpret to mean that she can be like Celestia, but also has a darker side which she has to overcome first. :)

Eh, I’m not really against it or anything. I actually think it’s a pretty cute and heartwarming comic. I just can’t help finding it hillarious that Celestia so easily forgets about the rather nasty things Sunset did at Canterlot High.
Plus, Twilight realised on her own that what she did was bad, and made several attempts to stop the situation herself. Sunset didn’t stop before the Mane 6 proved their magic hammer was bigger than hers.
@Rhurrs
Exactly, especially since I’m sure Princess Celestia blames herself for what happened with Sunset, for failing to see why she was so motivated to get as good as she could be.
@Soarinjack
Twilight mindraped an entire town with the ‘want it need it’ spell because she was paranoid about not sending a letter to Celestia, causing a mess that Celestia herself had to fix. If she can forgive Twilight for that (and let her off scott free thanks to her friends), I don’t see why she couldn’t forgive Sunset.
“What about all those highschool students I mindraped? And the destruction of Canterlot High?”
“As long as you learned something, it’s a price I’m willing to pay.”
