The thing is, it’s easier for art thieves to remove a signature than a watermark, so many artists opt for a watermark instead.
Honestly, I didn’t even notice the watermark at all until you mentioned it. There are definitely some that are really obtrusive, but this doesn’t seem that bad.

they’ve been known to leap ~10f out of the water to try and dislodge parasites with the re-entry impact. that’s not “fragile”
Molas are very fragile. Often a simple collision is enough to kill them.
