Don’t underestimate the appeal of those features in this day and age. Part of why the PS2 and PS3 sold like hotcakes is because they were relatively cheap DVD and Blu-Ray players, respectively. If Nintendo wants the Switch to sell strictly as a games machine, it better have some damn good software backing it up.
