Needless to say, Rainbow Dash was a little surprised by the changeling’s sudden arrival.
 
“Wow, really? Seven people were murdered here? That’s weird.”
 
“‘Weird’ is one way of putting it,” a voice said from behind Dash.
 
“Gah!” Dash jumped a little in surprise to see a strange-looking griffon male standing behind her. He appeared to have a blue-gray coat of feathers with a lighter gray mane. His eyes were noticeably red, making him look strange. He was wearing a black jacket and pants with a white button-down shirt, not tucked in.

Alex’s curiosity was piqued. “What do you mean? Do you know something of the murders?”

The griffon nodded slowly. “More than you would think. I was there.”

Alex was stunned for a few moments, but then he finally managed to ask the Griffon a question he needed to know. “What happened?”

The Griffon frowned and stared at the island. “I was there with three friends one time. We arrived at the island on vacation. By chance…” He paused. “We were there one night when a horrible storm blew by. Our supplies were drained, our boat totaled. We called for help, sure that we would receive it. But they never came.”
 
He turned back to face Dash and Alex. “Days went by. I started… seeing things. I thought I was going crazy at first… but when I heard the screams of the others, it was too late!”
 
He snarled, panting heavily. Quickly calming himself down, he said, “By the time help arrived, I was the only one left. I was all that there was.” His body trembled as he said this.

Alex puts a hand on his shoulder. “Are you ok sir?”

Oddly enough, out of all of this. There was one person who wasn’t even noticed.
 
A rather tall mare in a black hoodie and jeans. Her hood hiding her face. She was just silently mumbling. Just by looking at her you’d think she’d be the one who would kill everyone. When in reality she was just listening to music, silently singing the lyrics and wasn’t paying attention to anybody.

The griffon took a deep breath in. “I… I think so. For now.”
 
“Pfft!” Dash shook her head. “Don’t listen to him. He’s just a crazy, scruffy drunk guy.”
 
The griffon stopped and turned to face Dash dramatically. “Who’re you calling ‘scruffy’?”

“Now now, lets all remember why we’re here. We’re all here to relax and have a good time then get paid afterwards. Let’s not snap at one another.”

“ten grand for sticking around for two days… there are no known dangerous predators on the island… our host has something in store for us.”

“Right. Sorry.” Dash apologized to the griffon.
 
“Don’t know how I’ll possibly relax here,” the griffon muttered.
 
“If all that killing happened, why are you here anyway, Mister…?”
 
“Gerry,” the griffon quickly answered. “And I would gladly never come back to this island! But… well, I’ve taken to drinking and gambling ever since, and it’s kind of caught up to me… I have some people I still gotta pay.”

“A lot can happen in two days,” Gerry said with a frown.
 
“Well, not with me on the island!” Dash grinned. “Not to brag, but I am a Wonderbolt, and I am one of the Guardians of Harmony. If there are ghosts here, they’ll just give me an adrenaline boost!”
 
She looked at the changeling now. “What’s your name, anyway? And…” She then looked over at the mare in the black hoodie. “Who’s that?”

The mare still didn’t notice anything. She muttered something about man eating orchids and umbilical noose’s. Just some more song lyrics she was muttering.

Dash raised an eyebrow, then walked over to the mare to get a better look at her. “Hi…?”

Her eyes were closed, so she didn’t notice her.

Right, headphones. Dash shook her head, then tapped the mare on the shoulder a few times.

She opened her eyes, blinking a few times so her eyes adapt to the light.

“Oh. Uh, hi.” Dash didn’t really know what to say when talking to Dana. “I, uh, heard you muttering something over here and wanted to know what it was all about. Guess you were just listening to music, so… yeah.”
 
The fact that Dash found Dana strikingly hot didn’t help.

Dana took off her headphones and pulled her hood down, she had a nice long mane.
 
Dana: Uh, I’m Dana… W-What’s your name?
 
Dana blushed, seems she felt the same way about Dash, she liked the muscles on her.
