So Amuse Me (Interest Check for an RP)

So I might curious, what’d be the general forum response, or probability of joining an RP in something of a more complex, novelistic format? Now what if this RP was less focused on the aspect of individuals in a world, but “political entities”?
 
Elsewhere on other RP’ing forums I go to I generally poke my head into the world of political/civilization type RPs. It’s sort of my comfort zone in a sense. And brooding over here I’ve come to wonder if I should look into trying out an RP here to see how long it lasts.
 
But, how’d this go?
 
As said earlier: “Political entities”. I’m considering a nation-building like RP set before the events of the Hearthwarming Pagent with players taking control of groups within the three tribes: Pegasus, Unicorn, and Earth pony. In these groups, players will have control over any and all individuals within these states, operating primarily out of a central king and/or his advisers.
 
In this presumably medieval set up considerations to Feudalism could be made with no real centralized “nation”/tribe, and “tribe” in this sense being more along the lines of race. We could then theoretically take control of minor lord-lings within our tribe with their own independent territory and independent forces and independent resources (will, so far).
 
Setting wise, I was thinking well before the actual events of Hearth’s Warming. So on the verge on when the Windigos would be manifesting in Equestria/where ever to force their migrations.
 
I could also work on a map based off of the canonical map of Equestria, since I can’t operate in these without one.
 
I will also be holding some manner of writing competency.

i might be willing, but i am not playing a normal pony, if you need someone to play barbarians or some other strange entity i might do it.

Though is it limited to ponies or will there be griffs, d-dogs, and the like?

Anyways: for all intents and purposes I was mostly looking at keeping things reasonably simple by only allowing the three pony tribes. I don’t know how heavily the dynamics will be changed if I allowed Diamond Dogs or Changelings into the mix.
 
However duchies, or tribes within these tribes work will be presumably up to the player. I’m also mulling over the dynamics of the hierarchical head of the tribes (King for the unicorns, Commander for Pegasus, Chancelor for Earth Ponies).
 
 
As per potential barbarians I would imagine certain Earth Pony groups could be very hard-headily against being surfs to the Pegasi and Unicorns so there’s the possibility that these parties would fight against them for their own designs at independence.
