Rebel Mare: Hmmmm…maybe it’s because it is running low on––hopeful spirits??

Butler: It is as if some unfathomable anomly is sucking the energy out of the Marestream—and that’s even AFTER the Princess’ phone fiasco!

Pipp Petals: …I’ve had them plugged into the Mare Stream’s outlet all day!

(Multiple devices humming and dimming)

Inspector Mare: Uhhhhh, don’t you think you are extracting TOO much juice from the magic lantern???

Misty: Uh, maybe your stuff is draining the energy from the lantern.

Pipp Petals: Yeah, that’s not really how the lantern works.

Inspector Mare: How would YOU know??!! You’re not the magic lantern expert!!!

Rebel Mare: It is just like draining the car battery with the engine no longer running! Think about it! We won’t know if that is the case until we try unpluggin ALL of your devices!

Pipp Petals: …if they were, don’t you think they’d at least be a little charged?

Rebel Mare: Hmmm…these devices are feeling a very hot right now….Princess, I think your devices are halting the charging process, because doing so would cause them to overheat and explode…kind of like a digital failsafe

Inspector Mare: Well, THERE’S yer problem!!

Rebel Mare: But…that would mean that the magic lantern was sucking up ALL the energy from the Princess’ devices after the crash in a desperate move to regain its original capacitance!

Inspector Mare: OOOOOHHHH, why didn’t this Marestream magically pop out an instructions manual on how to use the lantern??!!!!
