I spent most of my shift thinking about the thematic underpinnings of The Student Six and The Mane Six, and I’ve suddenly got a list of things I want.
 
Rarity and/or Spike help Smolder explore her feminine side.
 
Gallus and Applejack discuss the idea of Family.
 
Gallus returns to a reconstructed Griffonstone and starts his own family.
 
Ocellus discusses her fears with Starlight.
 
Fluttershy helps Yona explore her gentle side.

Villains Take Over:
 
The entire, or at least a majority of the, season is all about the villains.
 
Or: Antagonists are called by the map.
 
Queen Chrysalis is reformed in a fashion similar to either Transformers Beast Wars Blackaracnia, Prime: Megatron, or Tempest Shadow (is nearly killed but is saved by Starlight.).
 
Possible inclusions of characters from other Hasbro shows as ponies. (I.E. Starscream, Sideways, Etc.)
 
A throwback scene of G1 moments. (like how Transformers Animated used G1 scenes as “Archived Footage”.)
 
Possible Human in Equestria story.
 
Lyra obsessing over said human.
 
And possible inclusion of Rule 63 Mane 6.

Frustration in Excelsis
Notoriously Divine Tagger - Consistently uploads images above and beyond the minimum tag requirements. And/or additionally, bringing over the original description from the source if the image has one. Does NOT apply to the uploader adding several to a dozen tags after originally uploading with minimum to bare tagging.

Huh. Must’ve missed this thread.
 
Anyway, for stuff I’d like to see before the show wraps up:
 
  • Something for the Pillars. Seeing Starswirl again was nice, but I’d really like for the other six to get some on-screen focus.  
  • A visit to, or at least a concrete mention of, wherever it is that Zecora comes from.  
  • Grogar.  
  • Tempest.  
  • The buffalo and/or breezies making another appearance.  
  • An Iron Will and Applejack episode – I think there’s some potential there for having a look at honesty and what it means to truly honor an agreement.  
  • Actual rebuilding in Griffonstone – it doesn’t even have to be something an episode focuses on; just showing that the buildings have been repaired and redecorated a bit and the streets cleared of the worst of the detritus would be good.  
  • One idea I heard in… I think it was one of Dr. Wolf’s videos and that I found quite interesting was of an episode where Applejack has to come to terms with a family member moving away – perhaps Big Mac moving in with Sugar Belle or, and less likely, Apple Bloom becoming old enough to move out – which would present an interesting conflict for a pony who’s so focused on working for and living alongside her family.
