We’re still seemingly getting at least one other thing soon.
Specifying the “last regular episode animatic” might mean this is a special.
I’m a bit unsure about that, if there are only bits and pieces left, it’s possible that this could be misunderstood. The silhouette of this mysterious figure is strange, it doesn’t give me the impression of a pony, instead of a villainous atmosphere.
These vines with thorns - they remind me of these black vines from G4, a characteristic sign of evil that was seen both times in Everfree. We had learned in S9 that these climbing plants with large and visible thorns had existed in Everfree and are magical, which would have spread if these were not kept in check. Vines with thorns can be seen as a sign of something dark and villainous. Because all other vines that have been seen so far in G5 do not have thorns - which is probably not possible with earth pony magic, then the magic user must be a villain instead of a regular pony. These vines are so strong that they can tear up rocky ground.
The figure itself is not possible to be compared to a pony at first impression, these on the head looked like horns? Fluted horns? A little too symmetrical to be a pony’s mane. There are goats - and rams with similar horns. And the eye shapes do not seem to belong on a pony. Current; I remembered seeing something similar in IDW comics - when the real Grogar was in the background. Also, it looked like the thin and tall figure might be wearing a cloak with a high collar.
This scenario is meant to create a strong impression of unrest and tension, so it is likely not an ordinary being that had appeared. Who should be called “Zinnea” according to others?
But I remembered Twilight’s warning in MYM not to “open - “ when this final sentence of her warning did not come through. Here it seems that someone had broken through the door out of a mysterious dimension. Was it this door she had referred to, that Opaline was not supposed to touch?
