He’s likely from Big Mac;s side of the family.

I dunno how Mac and Sugarbelle would feel that their descendant is a xenophobe who hates unicorns.

Probably nothing because they died a long time ago. But who knows? Maybe in the series he ends up liking unicorns.

Yeah unpopular opinion discord is far more interesting as a reformed character instead of being just another powerful silly chaotic evil villain, nothing specifically wrong with those archetypes i love bill cipher but there are so many of them already. Discord’s reformation to me made him more unique. @Pinto Bean

This explains it best a character who is a former despot chaos god is gonna still do bad things and struggle to be better.

Don’t get me wrong. I like Discord and I like The ending of the End. I just don’t think that twist didn’t need to be written.

And I don’t think we need more G4 content in G5 more than just a couple of toys that represented a wonderful idea of friendship.

And then Sprout’s biggest straight shipping right now is with the unicorn Izzy (aka izzysprout tag), the first image was posted into Reddit recently, yet many people in the MLP subreddit are freaking out somehow.

Hello. I did observe something interesting when I posted fan art of Sprout and Izzy here.

This was the first one I made. Its also the first image tagged with the izzysprout tag. The reception was surprising. It triggered some people. But that was several weeks ago. The second one I made was this.

Reception was much more fair after people got to know the characters a little more. Its really just Cheer Bear and Grumpy Bear as ponies on a date.

I posted a few more of my art here under my name and its supposedly also izzysprout in theme but no one’s bothered to tag it that. So I decided to post my art in anon mode because I think people are reluctant to really say what they want around here for fear of offending.

There’s really nothing special about the ship. I just like opposites attracting. Why it triggers people is beyond me.

You know, I never thought of that as being the case for those episodes, even for the Season 6 finale. I’m sure that within the episodes there were justifications like the fact that it was the first time the Mane 6 were dealing with a full grown dragon, the entire town were helping train a newcomer who was all about dealing things with magic and perhaps for Chrysalis she engaged in some sort of cunning and unexpected plan to take out everyone.

I am not familiar with reddit’s environment but I do know SunnyxHitch and PippxHitch are popular G5 ships. So I don’t think its that.

Maybe it has to do with the “popular mare” shipped with the “unpopular stallion”, also the fandom has always been favoring mares over stallions for long.
