Maybe. It had many versions. I heard the three tribes were going to be from different worlds. I heard the main characters would have changelings and kirin with them. I heard Applejack was gonna be black and evil. There’s probably several other versions but I can’t remember.

I can’t imagine someone like Sunny wanting to get popular. I kinda see that in the mother of the antagonist (I don’t remember their names).

Why couldn’t one of the main ponies be a bat pony? We barely know anything about them and weren’t even explained in g4.

It’s a matter of debate if they even existed in G4 (Flutterbat aside), and they’re certainly not one of the franchise staples.

Because we already got millions of flutterbat and ponybat fanarts. Maybe it’s me, but I wanna see something original, not something related to vampires, which is a boring character concept to being with, characters that can’t go out daylight and can be destroyed by holy water and garlic. There’s nothing interesting about them.

Zipp Storm is Rainbow Dash, but actually likeable, and not dumber than a bag of bricks.

Rainbow is more of a soldier in mentality. You can see it in Hurricane Fluttershy.
Zipp is more of a rebel.

I don’t see what purpose that would serve to the overall story.

I’m not talking about the story; it would be pretty cool to see a bat pony as a main character since we rarely seen them in G4 that’s all.
