Ideas for MLP: FiM Videogames/Flash Games

What it says on the tin. Post your ideas for FiM-themed videogames or flash games here. It’s pretty simple, really, just write the name of the game, the type of game it is (Platformer, RPG, etc.) and what episode or episodes it’s based off of. Feel free to include descriptions of powerups or characters. Be as detailed as you want - most of these games probably won’t get made, anyway. xP
 
Name: Apple Bloom’s Nightmare  
Type: Non-Linear Platformer  
Based Off: Bloom and Gloom with some elements of Luna Eclipsed thrown in for good measure  
Playable Characters: Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Twist, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Babs Seed  
Plot: Nightmare Night has just wrapped up and Apple Bloom is heading off to bed. Apple Bloom falls asleep and is greeted by Princess Luna, who says her she needs her help: the spirit of Nightmare Moon is going around scaring innocent fillies and colts in their dreams - she’s feeding off their fear and once she’s had her fill, she’ll be able to take on a physical form and blanket Equestria in unending darkness. Apple Bloom asks why she didn’t try and get Princess Twilight’s help; Luna explains only a foal can defeat the spirit of Nightmare Moon, since she only appears in the dreams of foals, not in the dreams of adult ponies.
 
The game has seven levels, with three stages each - the final stage being a boss battle. Each level takes place in a different fillies dream world, and is a nightmare specific to that particular filly. At the end of each level, the player gains the option to play as the filly they’ve rescued from their nightmare. Aside from the final level, you can enter any door you want, regardless of order. The fillies abilities can be broken down into four main categories - Strength, Speed, Endurance, Flight and Magic. Babs Seed and Apple Bloom are the strongest, Silver Spoon and Twist are the fastest, Diamond Tiara and Apple Bloom have the most endurance, Scootaloo can fly and Sweetie Belle can use magic.
 
Earth Ponies and Pegasi can gain the ability to use magic if they acquire the Alicorn Amulet, while Earth Ponies and Unicorns can gain the ability to fly using flight potions. Scootaloo cannot use a flight potion, nor can Sweetie Belle use the Alicorn Amulet. Other powerups include strength potions, speed potions and Nightmare Night Candy (get 100 pieces and you get an extra life - how original). Costumes can also be acquired, which give the player certain abilities for short periods of time.

I have a game that is a fan idea more than a game that is in-depth. I have an idea of a Daring Do game that needs to be in the gameloft app. Daring Do jumping from wall, to wall. Collecting bits, shards, and gems. Along the way, Ahuizotl cat minions are trying to tackle you. Ahuizotl unleashed a destructive trap that sends all the rock cavern in the volcano to fall into you. It’s an endless runner much like the Diamond Dog cart game.

I’ve been waiting for a topic like this! I’ve been thinking up ideas for MLP:FiM fan games ever since I’ve joined the fandom! But where to begin?…. Well for starters, the majority of my game ideas are crossovers if that’s cool with all of you guys.

Well…where to start? Firstly, I can’t go into every little detail I’ve ever thought up for each of them for this post. But I can definitely can if anyone has any interest in my ideas, along with knowledge of the games that these are all based on.
 
The earliest one I can remember is an RPG that me and one of my first brony friends came up with. Its purely just MLP:FiM only and a lot of the ideas have faded away based on the show’s current status. Nowadays, I just think up RPG re-inactments of the show’s battle scenes.  
But with how the fandom are able to create their own pony RPGs lately, I would love to see a Mario & MLP RPG crossover since it hasn’t been done yet.
 
Another one I have is a Metal Slug crossover called Metal Slug P. This was made before Keep Calm and Flutter On because I wanted to have Discord as the final boss.  
This let you play as one of the Metal Slug characters with one of the Mane Six assisting you, as you can switch between them for multiple tactics. I had a lot of fun thinking up concepts for this one with my Steam friends back in the day.
 
Next one is a very strange crossover, its basically a pony version of another fangame (which was recently sadly canceled) known as Mushroom Kingdom Fusion. What was it called? MLP:FiM Fusion.  
This one marked the first time I started to write my ideas down on a document since I like coming up with everything in my head being autistic and all.

I’d like to see one that was like Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing, but with a Legend Of Zelda-ish adventuring portion too.

I’ve wanted an EqG soccer game since around when the first Equestria Girls came out. Like, 4 on 4. If anyone ever played the Inazuma Eleven games on DS/3DS, it would be similar to the random battles in that, except last as long as the matches do.

These all sound like good ideas.

Without showeorning ponies into something for the sake of ponies. Only real thing I can think of would be story-based games. Wish I had the time/skills to develop a point and click adventure similar to Day of the Tentacle/Monkey Island.

What do you guys think about a MLP-fied Ace Combat Zero with Cadence as Cipher and Sombra as Pixy, and Shining Armor as PJ?

something along the lines of Mario Party for me. Haven’t fleshed out the details on how to make it work, though.

My Little Pony: Societies are Magic
 
Basically, Simcity Societies with ponies, except better. The original already has six societal values (labour, creativity, fun, loyalty, faith and knowledge), which fit quite well with the Elements of Harmony. (honesty, generosity, laughter, loyalty, kindness and magic)  
Aside from several small improvements, like a Giant Hat Shop venue, I came up with two big ones:
 
A danger setting when you generate a map, which determines what sort and how many monsters prowl the edge of the map. Certain buildings project a safe zone around them, which allows you to slowly bring the scary outdoors (i.e. The Everfree Forest) into your control.
 
Two advisors in the style of Blac&White. One is a mare called Nimby, who tries to steer you towards Harmony until you are able to build the Beacon of Harmony.  
The other is King Sombra, who tries to steer you towards Control, until you can build the Beacon of Slavery.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that.
I think this is an excellent idea!

FIM Point and Click Adventure game in the style of Grim Fadango would be great. It would focus on the more slice of life aspects or maybe mysteries not based on actions. Though there could be some mini games sprinkled in.
