You can view lists of both your faves and your upvotes. If you want to have a private alternative to faving an image, just upvote it. You will be able to find it again, but nobody else will.
 
The only disadvantage is that you can’t do complex search queries which include your likes, such as “faved_by:UserName, sweetie belle, bondage”.

In the activity page, going to the next image page would send me to the next page but on derpibooru.org/images instead. Is that suppose to happen, or is it a bug?

I wonder if it’s possible to implement a task bar that follows you as you scroll down the page? Like the one used on EqD and Cheezburger. I think it might make searching and navigating a little bit more convenient for those who are too lazy to scroll upwards. The current system is fine, btw.

Any plans for making the site compatible with .swf?

Would that not risk introducing vulnerabilities into the site? Flash is pretty notorious for exploits, so allowing random users to upload arbitrary flash files may be unwise without pretty extensive sanitation.

There are boorus out there that allow flash content. Don’t know how they handle security or if they just don’t care, but if DB can figure out a way to make uploads safe, then I wouldn’t mind having ’em.

Because we aren’t. The whole point of faves on this site, its “predecessor” site and every site I know of is to be a public way of saying “I like this”.

Something like “Tags on image” in menu. Similar to “Images per page”, where anyone can mark how many tags he/she want in “view”, or “download”. + Something like watch list, but not as search for tags, but download option. Anyone can tell what tags will be place in his/her end download filename.
 
So yea… even I can tell it may be hard to apply, so only place as idea.

Flash is very rarely actively targetted for exploits. The maim vector is Java. SWFChan seems to have it under control and there’s usually moderators on most of the time.

Have you ever considered a quickie feature to post an image on the site that’s already in the comments, but it also functions as a link to take you to that image?
 
Basically a version of this:

Condensed into one line of code like (for example) this:

So far the closest we can get is the long string of code above, and since that rigidly takes you to one specific booru instead of whichever booru whoever clicks the link is using, it messes people up a bit. Like, if you posted a link with that code using derpibooru.org and along comes a spider who is using derpiboo.ru, it will mess them up.

No, flash actually is quite vulnerable to exploits. There was one not even a year ago that was so bad Adobe themselves were recommending people to disable it until they fixed it.

For that you can use !link!:/(image number), but yes the forums seems to have some more functions than images itself which would be kool to see them there as well
