Boss ones living forever is a good point.
So, I recently discovered what happens if you lose to Papyrus.
My love for that skeleton grew a lot when I saw that. Him and Toriel get lots of love for being the only two who won’t try to kill you for just being human.
Toriel only fights you to protect you, to boot. I’m assuming Papyrus is a little naive - possibly even willingly turning a blind eye - about what they’d do with a captured human… Makes him less innocent than Toriel, but more than others who’d just as soon kill you on the spot for what you are.
Well, in terms of boss monsters. Nabs never even intended to hurt you - not sure if he counts. And neither did Tems and at least a few others.

Great point… Poor kids. I know I’d be scared as a kid in a cave of monsters…
But also good point on them not necessarily being children.

I don’t think having LOVE makes you evil, only when it’s in ridiculously large amounts like with Chara.

I looked this up because two things came to mind - both about those four rooms that are all rotations of the same room (bottom-right - last room before the T-shaped room that leads up to Toriel’s house).

- I think that’s the only area in all of Undertale - that I can remember - that is geometrically impossible… Makes me wonder what the deal with it is.
- To top it off, there’s a slot there - the same sort of slot you come out of when you come out of one of the pitfall areas. But there’s no (known) associated pitfall area that leads to you coming out of that slot… It’s only visible in the first of the four rooms, right above where that yellow “x” is drawn in.

You know, I was thinking. the humans drove all of the monsters underground, but then why are there so many dogs? Dogs are monsters? I mean sure, these dogs seem to have a thing for suits of armor, but most of them seem fairly normal otherwise
