That’s Grimer, Robotnik’s sidekick from the UK “Sonic the Comic” series by Fleetway.

I hear originally they were going to use Snivley like the American Archie Sonic comics, but when they discovered they weren’t required to, they made up their own sidekick who basically looks like a cross between Igor, and the Chuck Jones Grinch.

In terms of personality, Grimer doesn’t have much besides being a typical, loyal, bad guy sidekick, and lacks the humor of the S.S.S.S.S. Squad, or Orbot/Cubot. He also lacks Snivley’s revelious “Starscream” dynamic. (Only time he ever calls out Robotnik, is later when his master was going to murder-suicide everyone and everything on Mobius.)

So there’s nothing that really makes him stand out from the other Eggman sidekicks, which is why you don’t see many Grimer fans out there.

Seems the Popularity of Maria Robotnik has been even more increased since the Movie came out & Shadow Generations(plus the Short Animation Episodes that came out on YouTube) was Released.

More than when Sonic Adventure 2 & Shadow The Hedgehog were released is that possible?

Aparently the post credit scene with metal and amy ras going to be sonic going to an alternative timeline

If that is the case it was probably for the best they didn’t do that. That might have been too much for a post credit scene

Yeah even for the 3rd film in the franchise it might have been much, also making an alternate universe were Robotnik took over and has his own Metal Sonic seems off. If there is any reason to bring in an alternate universe it’s to introduce Blaze the Cat. Amy and Metal don’t need to be from parallel universe, what sense does that make?

To think we could have gotten a Sonic crossover with Katamari Damacy.

I don’t really have an answer for that, maybe back during it’s release on Dreamcast it didn’t gain a wide audience, but when it came to Gamecube it grew more popular and as a result Maria became a popular character through the players experience as Shadow. It could also be because of memes, who can say.

Hmm, yeah Memes certainly help to gain more Attention on Characters.

From what I’ve seen recently the Majority seem to think the recent released Game & Movie did make the Dynamic/Connection between Shadow & Maria look better than what SA2 & STH accomplished. :o (don’t know if I can 100% agree with that Opinion, I really enjoyed the Sonic Adventure 2 Backstory personally, but yeah Shadow the Hedgehog was a bit Messy to be honest XD)

Well to be fair, the english translations for SA2 were a little sloppy at times, I love the game to death but even I’ll admit it wasn’t always handled correctly.
The 2005 Shadow game did help iron out some of the translation issues, also the Sonic X anime included Shadow and Maria’s backstory in case you didn’t play the game.

Yeah the Sonic X Anime did use SA & SA2 Parts as Arcs/Chapters in the Series that’s true. (the Japanese Dub/Version did do a really Fine Job what the English Dub somewhat squandered, I know certain Individuals still make 4Kids Jokes about the ridiculous Censorship XD)

It was fine, I grew up watching whatever episodes I happen to come across on tv, thanks to YouTube I was able to watch all episodes properly in order and it has it’s moments. Considering what we got with the Adventure games, I was a little disappointed the next saga wasn’t Sonic Heroes related, but I admire it now for it’s originality.
I really liked Cosmo and the relationship she had with Tails, it was cool seeing Shadow return, and Dark Oak was a pretty sweet villain.
Downside was them having to bring back Chris Thorndyke. Now I wouldn’t have minded if he was an adult, but they had to come up with some excuse for him to revert back to a kid when entering Sonic’s dimension so unfortunately we have to endure that version of the character again.

Kimiko Glenn does seen to be a pretty common fan choice for amy.
If she does get the vote that would make her this second sonic movie actor to be in the g5 movie

Mhm the Cosmo/Tails Relationship was Fine Stuff overall & yeah Dark Oak(and the entire Metarex Species) was a Good Villain. :)

I wholeheartly agree that the Chris Inclusion in the Arc was not necessary at all XD

I really liked her performances as Peni and Izzy, so I wouldn’t mind if they chose her to play Amy. I also wouldn’t mind Shannon Chan-Kent since not only was she Amy in Sonic Prime, but was also the bartender in the first Sonic movie.

Sonic 3 is getting 2 steelbooks.
I will get the Shadow and eggman version.

just watched alicaxlife watch the first sonic movie. loved even she could pick up on the gasyness coming off stone and eggman.
