Currently it is not. But I have no idea if it might be in the future, so I added the warning so that people could post NSFW snowpity here if they wanted.

But, yeah - currently there is none. I have no idea if erotic snowpity is a thing or not - Do you think the thread would be better it it was SFW?

For starters… who or what is “Snowpity”? And if it’s a pony, shouldn’t this topic be in the pony section of the forums?

Snowpity is a meme, but it seems to be very poorly defined, or not even a specific thing.

This is the thread where it is being proposed and I created this thread to help the people promoting the proposed tag see how they could use a thread to talk about the meme without it becoming a tag on the site.

Because, in all honesty, I don’t see how the tag would work, or what it even is supposed to mean. There about 25 images where the tag is in use, but the people pushing for the tag to be in more general use applied it to a wide variety of images, which don’t seem to match any recognizable pattern.

Examples of images the people pushing for the tag say are “snowpity” include Lyra asking for a hug, Minuette staring at the camera, Lyra celebrating a home run, Fluttershy asking for a hug, and Derpy jumping on a cloud.

So - I have no clue what the tag is supposed to do to help searching or filtering, or what images it would or would not be for.

In the other thread it now seems they are focusing on images with hooves up? But that’s not what some of the people in Support were asking for, and it doesn’t match their tag changes yesterday.

So it seems the folks talking about the tag yesterday aren’t fully represented yet in the Tagging Discussion thread? Or maybe something else is going on?

Anyway, since the people for whom this thread was created don’t seem to want to use it, then if someone wants to post snowpity here, feel free! It doesn’t seem like you could post a wrong image at this point.

Just please don’t add the tag to more images, because aside from the 25 images that already have it, no one can explain what it is or how it should be used.
