How does breeding work in Scarlet/Violet? Thinking of renting the former from a library, but will need the mons I plan on breeding.

When there pokemon of opposite gender but are part of the same egg group present during the picnic. This means Pokemon can have multiple partners. Example is a male noverian. It is part of the flying dragon egg group. So if you have female quaqnval and Salazzle, it will breed both.

I owned Violet, so I wouldn’t recall which Pokémon are available on Scarlet

In that case, try the northern mountains for Frigibax, but mind the high levels
