Yep.

I made soup. Misread the recipe, added one-and-a-half cups of onion instead of one-half-to-one-cup.

I made zuppa toscana and a pumpkin pie. A real Italian soup would use pancetta, but bacon is a perfectly acceptable substitute. A little thyme, white pepper, and red chili flakes pump up the flavor.

The pumpkin pie is just the recipe on the back of the Libby’s can. It’s always been good, so why mess with it?

From my experience with burning things, a low flame seems to produce the most flavor.

Didn’t hurt it at all.

Recently got into dieting and calorie tracking. I heard about what Greek Yogurt can be used for. So far, Greek Yogurt + Sriracha and garlic powder is quickly going to become my go-to dip, and I need to further experiment with mixing in cinnamon and vanilla.

I drank some Cascabella, it has a wonderful buttery flavor, went good on a steak & egg bowl.

Okay, so I have thirteen million scovilles ready to rock and roll, what I’ll probably do with this stuff is add a drop or two to some weaker hot sauce.

Trying to roast a whole chicken like a pork loin.

It turned out all right, but the skin tasted off, probably because it was in the freezer for a long time.
