Edgar Broughton Band - Love Gang, Germany, One To Seven, Signal Injector, Frühling Flowers (For Claudia) and I Want To Lie
From the sixth album by the English (Originally From Warwick, Warwickshire, moving in the mid 60s to Notting Hill Gate, London) underground Blues/Psychedelic/Hard rock (occasionally also proto-Metal) band, “Bandages” (1976).
The core members of the group were a power trio consisting of the brothers Edgar and Steve Broughton on lead vocals/lead guitar and drums respectively, with Arthur Grant on bass. This was their last album under this moniker, as they would initially disband and regroup a few years later as the Broughtons, releasing two more before disbanding again. They continued on as a live band in 1989 and from 2006-2010 before breaking up for good. On this album, cult Australian musical mover-and-shaker “Creepy” John Thomas joined the band on extra vocals and guitar, and Mike Oldfield (Of Tubular Bells fame) also guests on the album on some tracks.
